On October 16, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to discuss the tasks arising from the ideas voiced by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party Ilham Aliyev at the VIII Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party.

Representatives of the Nakhchivan city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, senior officials of the Ministry, employees and party activists participated in the event.

First, the dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who gave their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence, followed by the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was addressed by Aziz Humbatzade, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Rail Taghizade, Deputy Chairman of the Nakhchivan city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Emil Guliyev, Chairman of the territorial party organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, and Araz Khalilov, employee of the Ministry, public activist.

The speeches spoke about the important role played by the New Azerbaijan Party in the formation and strengthening of modern Azerbaijani statehood, the rich political heritage of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and the successful continuation of the development strategy he defined under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

It was noted that as a result of the consistent and purposeful policy implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has achieved significant historical achievements, and our country's international prestige and regional position have been further strengthened. The full restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, the large-scale reconstruction and construction work carried out in the territories liberated from occupation were assessed as a vivid example of the power and development of our state.

The meeting also touched upon the issues of protecting national and spiritual values, loyalty to statehood traditions, strengthening the spirit of patriotism, and strengthening national unity and solidarity in society. The importance of strengthening educational work against ideological influences in the modern information environment, especially among young people, and promoting the idea of ​​national statehood and civic responsibility was emphasized.

At the same time, the political and organizational goals set at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party, the responsibilities of party members, the importance of increasing activity in socio-political processes, and the importance of being guided by the party's principles of action in daily work were brought to attention.

It was noted that party members working in state institutions should be exemplary with their professional activities, responsible behavior, sensitive attitude to citizens, and public initiative, and should contribute to the implementation of state policy.

At the end of the event, membership cards were presented to the Ministry employees newly admitted to the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party.
