The implementation of a cashless payment system in public transport begins in Nakhchivan

Another important step is being taken in the direction of modernizing the public transport system in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and improving the quality of services provided to passengers.

In this context, Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center LLC has started training on the implementation of a cashless payment system in public transport.

This system will make the payment process more convenient, efficient and transparent by enabling payment of fares through bank cards and special transport cards.

Special training is being organized for bus drivers and relevant employees in order to successfully implement the project. During the training, detailed information is provided on the rules for the correct use of payment terminals, passenger service standards, as well as the technical and functional features of the new system.

The sale of transport cards and increasing the card balance will be carried out in all post offices of Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center LLC operating in the city, along with other existing means. In the future stages, this service network is planned to be further expanded.

The implementation of a cashless payment system is an important component of the digital transformation process in the transport sector. This will both increase the transparency of financial transactions and create a safer, faster and more convenient service environment for passengers.

The implementation of the system will significantly contribute to bringing public transport services up to modern standards, increasing citizen satisfaction and expanding digital services.
